The Praya Palazzo is one of the new kids on the Bangkok boutique hotel block but we have already created quite a stir since opening in 2009. Publications in Bangkok, Thailand and beyond have already sat up and taken notice of the achievements we have made in such a short time. Since January 2010, we have appeared in 14 separate magazines with world famous publications such as Elle waxing lyrical about the way we do things, the location, the staff and just about everything else associated with the Praya Palazzo hotel.
The hotel is actually a refurbished mansion that is almost 90 years old. These buildings have an extraordinary history and this is certainly part of the hotel’s charm. Unlike a host of other new hotels which are modern and lacking ambiance, the Praya Palazzo oozes charm from the interior to its exterior. Of course, we are fortunate to have such a canvas from which to work. In many ways, the location of the hotel makes our job easier. We overlook the incredible Chao Phraya river which is synonymous with the city of Bangkok.
This is not to say that we have not worked tirelessly to make the hotel one of Bangkok’s most desirable places. Location is nothing if you don’t have the staff and we are blessed with an extraordinary team of intelligent men and women with a Spartan work ethic. Thanks to their hard work, we can ensure that all guests feel like Kings and Queens throughout their stay. Our staff makes sure that this 17 room exclusive boutique hotel can easily cope with a wedding reception of 200 people.
We understand that there are many worthy hotels in Bangkok which is why we are not resting on our laurels. This initial success and industry recognition will count for nothing if we don’t continue to maintain our extraordinarily high standards. One thing we’ll never lose sight of is the fact that the customer is our first priority and deserves to have a stay to remember.
