Only a Riverside Hotel in Bangkok Makes Sense When Staying In Thailand's Capital
If you're visiting Thailand's capital city, a riverside hotel in Bangkok has to be top of your list of priorities. Simply put, the Chao Phraya River is where the entire city's magic happens and if you have accommodation elsewhere, you will not get the most out of your vacation. There are dozens of five star hotels along the river but Bangkok boutique hotels such as the Praya Palazzo are becoming more popular because of their affordability in comparison to luxurious hotel chain giants and the unique ambiance that emanates from one of these buildings. Above all, they are extremely close to the river and allow you to go to and from the city any time you wish without the need to rely on public transport.

Don’t Miss Out On The Bangkok Boutique Hotel Experience!
When you are greeted by a warm smile and have your luggage safely transported to your room in a Bangkok boutique hotel, what are you expecting your stay to be like? If you have stayed in a luxury hotel elsewhere in the world, you obviously expect top-quality service, the finest ingredients in your food and respect from staff at all times. You would also like a room with a view that doesn’t overlook busy streets and wish that the hotel had the staff to afford you more attention. This often doesn’t happen in Western hotels. Even the most luxurious hotels are understaffed with more rooms and guests than employees can reasonably handle. With a Bangkok boutique hotel, there are far fewer rooms which makes the whole experience more exclusive. Also, the staff will be able to give you the undivided attention you deserve.

Why a Riverside Hotel in Bangkok Is Your Only Real Choice
Once you book a room in a riverside hotel in Bangkok, you are one step away from having the vacation of a lifetime. Riverside in this instance is the Chao Phraya River which is often seen as the heartbeat of Thailand, let alone Bangkok. Visitors to the river never cease to be awestruck by its power and beauty as it gives life to millions of people in the surrounding area. This river is the reason why Bangkok thrived centuries ago and why it is now one of the world’s ‘must see’ cities. Although Bangkok is as modern as any city in the world, visitors can also see elements of the past as they walk through the streets or sail down the Chao Phraya on a riverboat.

Bangkok Venice of the East
Bangkok has come a long way from the small village which bore its name in the 15th century. As it was located on the mouth of the Chao Phraya River, the area soon grew in importance and even became the site of a famous siege in 1688 when Siam expelled the French. Bangkok was made Thailand’s capital in 1782 and has expanded in size ever since. Water is at the heart of the city with the canals deemed to be as important as the streets. This is why Bangkok has gained the sobriquet: ‘Venice of the East’.
Perhaps it is no surprise to learn that the Praya Palazzo boutique hotels Bangkok also has a distinct Italian influence just like the capital. The hotel is actually a mansion that was first built in 1923. Praya Chollabhumipanish was a member of King Rama V’s court and he was greatly influenced by contemporary Italian art. The mansion was specially built on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. This is great news for our guests who stay within easy walking distance of Bangkok’s jewel. (more…)
